The Body Shop At Home… why it works for me and could work for you too!

This was absolutely first thought when I heard about The Body Shop At Home:

Where’s the catch?

When I found that there wasn’t one I was blown away. I’ve always loved The Body Shop. Who wouldn’t? Ethically sourced, #faat (forever against animal testing) products, changing lives and laws all over the world and founded by Anita Roddick, empowering women for years.

This year The Body Shop At Home is celebrating 25 years of empowering us to work flexibly from home all of the UK. And to this day, so many women and men are creating their own opportunities with the support and resources of The Body Shop At Home.

If you’ve found this blog for any reason, I’m so glad. I’m Sarah, a mum of 2 girls, I have been diagnosed with EUPD (Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder) and blog as therapy. It’s one of many invisible illnesses but has meant the normal job of 9-5, wasn’t for me.

Last September I saw the below kit for £45 and decided I would try to earn £50 a week by recommending some of the Body Shop products.

Before I’d placed an order I shared what I was planning to do on social media and everyone starting messaging me to say how much they loved Body Shop products. I had 3 people ask if I could give them the details about joining themselves.

Bonus

Within the first month I had fast tracked to Area Manager with a £250 bonus. It was then that someone pointed out the bonus system if I wanted to take a look. And wow when I saw it, I was blown away 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

I now have a team of 180 people who all joined for different reasons. Some of those include:

  • A second income
  • A brand new career
  • To build a business
  • To work with this incredible brand
  • To impact lives of those in places like Ghana through our Community Trade projects
  • To raise money for COTE, Children On The Edge charity, in places like Uganda
  • To receive FREE products on skincare & make-up
  • To build confidence
  • To have something for themselves
  • To win incentive trips (I’ve just got back from a FREE holiday to Barbados & I’m off to Paris in June)
  • To be successful
  • Because they are on social media anyway and might as well make money
  • Love to party and build a social live

The reasons are endless and I can honestly say my reason for joining was a combination. But it 6 months I’ve transformed my life and that of my family. I’ve become committed to improving myself with personal development. I have an incredible team who love supporting and helping each other and above all else we’ve become friends.

I couldn’t wait to get started as a community trade ambassador

This month I got to start as a community trade ambassador and it’s so exciting. The work we do all over the world is so important and I can’t wait to even be just a small part of it!

I’m always looking for new people to join my tesm, whether it be for a little extra cash to pay the bills or take the kids out, or wanting to go all out and build a team and region. It can work for everyone..

What would you love to do?
